Cavity Wall Ties

Cavity Wall Ties
Triton's wall ties are manufactured from stainless steel to avoid corrosion and are either mechanically fixed, resin bonded or a combination of both. Mechanically fixed replacement cavity wall ties are most suited to structures of known strength on both the inner and outer skin. When the strength is unknown, resin bonded replacement cavity wall ties are most suitable.

AA10 - Double Adhesive Tie
AA10 is a 10mm diameter stainless steel replacement wall tie, which can be used in situations that require both the inner and outer wall to be anchored with resin. It has the added advantage of being virtually self-centering. The AA10 has "waisted" ends which give the tie both a mechanical and an adhesive fixing, once the resin has cured.
The AA10 tie can be used in most building materials ie brick, lightweight block, timber and mortar. It is manufactured from austenitic stainless steel, of which grade 316 is used. AA10 ties are available in various lengths to deal with varying cavity widths and construction types. The AA10 tie has an inbuilt feature that enables load tests to be carried out on site on the inner leaf if necessary. Typical loads are achieved in excess of 2.5kn.
Supplied in boxes of 100.

EE10 - Single Fix Wall Tie
EE10 stainless steel double expansion remedial wall ties are manufactured from neoprene and 304 grade austenitic stainless steel. It uses a newly designed torque nut to set both the inner and outer expanders independently. The inner fix is affected by a ribbed neoprene, which gives the best possible grip on the inner leaf. The outer leaf is loaded by continuing to turn the setting nut with the fixing tool. Pull out tests can be carried out if required. Typical loads achieved are in excess of 2.5kn.
Supplied in boxes of 150.

ER10 - Expanding Resin Tie
The ER10 is a 10mm diameter replacement cavity wall tie that combines 304 grade austentic stainless steel and neoprene. The ER10 is most suited to situations where the outer leaf is of a solid construction and the inner leaf is of a weaker material (blockwork) as the inner end of the tie is resin bonded into the structure, and the outer end is expanded to form a fix.
Supplied in boxes of 200.

RR10 - Double Adhesive Tie
The RR10 is a 5mm diameter stainless steel replacement wall tie that can be used in situations that require both the inner and outer wall to be anchored with resin. The RR10 is a 5mm stainless steel bar with a 10mm nut on each end of the tie with a centre drip. The RR10 is manufactured from 304 grade austentic stainless steel. Once the resin has cured, a pull test on the inner leaf can be performed using the appropriate adaptor and testing machine. Typical loads achieved are in excess of 2.5kn.
Supplied in boxes of 250.

PB10 - Double Expanding Wall Tie
PB10 stainless steel double expansion remedial walls ties are manufactured from brass and 304 grade austenitic stainless steel. The tie ahs been designed with brass expanders which are more sympathetic to the structure. It uses a newly designed torque nut to set both the inner and outer expanders independently. The inner fix is effected by a crimped nut which gives the best possible grip on the inner leaf and forces a free moving cone into the expander. Typical loads achieved are in excess of 2.5kn.
Supplied in boxes of 200.

Triton Lateral Restraint
Typically used to stabilize old or bowed walls, Triton’s Lateral Restraints are manufactured from 8mm diameter 304 austenitic Stainless Steel rods. They are available in a standard 1m length but can be supplied in other lengths on request. They are designed to restrain the whole of the brick outer structure to the floor joists. Installation involves minimal disturbance to the homeowner as they are fitted from the outside of the property.
Supplied in 400ml cartridges.

Trifix Adhesive
Trifix is a two component epoxy resin system specifically formulated for use with twin component side by side cartridges using either hand operated or, more normally, air operated guns, using "at the nozzle" static spiral mixers. Trifix is colour coded for visual assurance that the two components are fully mixed. The product is solvent free, thixotropic, ie will not readily slump, and cures in cold, damp conditions. Trifix is formulated as an anchoring adhesive to give a strong, stress-free joint within the structure, be it brick, stone, mortar or timber.
Supplied in 400ml cartridges.
